Mission 500 announces new board of director members

MIAMI — Mission 500 has announced the addition of five new board of director members.

Ken Gould of Ken Gould Consulting has been elected chairman of the board. Gould is a former president of the New York Fire Alarm Association (NYFAA) and the Metropolitan Burglar and Fire Alarm Association of NY (MBFAA), sits on the Foundation Board for North Shore LIJ Staten Island University Hospital, is on the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) Board of Directors, is a former ESA New Jersey CSA representative, and is president-elect of New Jersey Electronic Security Association (NJESA).

Three newly elected board members include James Rothstein, SVP Global Security Solutions, Anixter; Will Wise, group vice-president of the Security Events Portfolio, Reed Exhibitions; and Jason Lutz, strategic national account manager & industry relations, Resideo.

Richard Hahn, president, Richard Hahn and Associates and Herve Fages, president, Connected Building & Building Management Systems, Honeywell Home and Building Technologies; are stepping down from the Mission 500 Board of Directors. Hahn and Fages both will serve as Board Emeritus members.

Mission 500 has also announced that Mary Beth Shaughnessy, event director, ISC Events and Unmanned Security Expo at Reed Exhibitions, will join its executive board to provide organizational direction and strategy planning.

“I am pleased to welcome our new chairman, new executive board member, and three new board of directors members,” said Tom Nolan, director of Strategic Partnerships for Mission 500, in a prepared statement. “They each have a unique background, with diverse experiences, including current and past commitments to helping children in need, that make them an asset to the Mission 500 Board of Directors and to the organization as a whole.”
